Westcord Wtc Hotel Leeuwarden

Very good hotel situated about a 20-minute foot walk from Leeuwardens City Centre. The room I had was good renovated and very clean. I had the impression that the building itself has not been built newly. Also, positively to mention is the restaurant eleve situated on the 11th floor which offers besides excellent food also a great view over the area. The only negative point to mention is the parking area. It is a bit offside the hotel what is not the issue. The point is that the guidance bx the signs I'd unclear. I had therefore to ask local people passing by in order to find the entrance to the car park.

Great hotel, the name World Trade Centre is a bit unfortunate though. The rooms were good, nothing to complain about, with two small exceptions. We were travelling with food, however there was no mini fridges to store it in unfortunately, though I doubt that can be blamed on the hotel though. There was also lime scale in the shower head and some sort of accumulated dirt in the shower drain. The lime scale, true to its name, was indeed the colour of lime, green, which was kind of gross. Nonetheless, it’s an easy thing to miss when mass-cleaning all the hotel rooms. The parking was great and super accessible, wether young or old it’s easy to find as it’s located right next to the hotel. The view was lovely, and the staff were nice. The rooms provided a little optional report on your stay which if you want could be filled out on paper. The hotel was very modern, and definitely high quality. Based on the price at which it’s set it’s definitely worth a stay!

Stayed here as just finished supporting the non stop 11 City's SUP race the day before and were too tired to drive on back towards Ireland. We had been on the go for over 32 hours. Hotel is beautiful and we walked into the centre of Leeuwarden in the afternoon and then treated ourselves to dinner on the 11th floor of the hotel with fantastic views. The food is out of this world with great flavours and quite reasonable for what we ate. If staying in the hotel eat in the restaurant, if not staying in the hotel go and eat in the restaurant.
